Key responsibilities: The assignment is based in the UN Field Coordination Office in Dhangadhi, Nepal. Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator based in UNFCO Nepalgunj, the Field Coordination Consultant has to achieve the set deliverables.
Required qualification and experience: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or related discipline. Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in the development or coordination field with thorough understanding of development issues in the Far Western Region of Nepal. Proven capacity to interact with stakeholders at diverse levels and capacity to network with local communities and proven team-working skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel. Fluency in spoken and written English and Nepali is an absolute must. Knowledge of other languages used in the Far Western Region will be considered an advantage.
